I regret to inform potential customers of my extremely disappointing experience with Essential Home Services. Despite their initial promise of a thorough end-of-lease clean, the service delivered was far below acceptable standards. Despite multiple opportunities (four separate visits were arranged), the company failed to rectify the inadequacies of their service. Notably, their final promised visit to address remaining issues never occurred, showcasing a lack of commitment to their word and customer satisfaction.Further complicating matters, Essential Home Services made false claims about liaising with my real estate office to confirm the completion of their service to the agreed standards. Upon verification with my property manager, it was clear that no such communication took place, and the cleaning deficiencies remained unaddressed.Attempts to resolve the issue directly with the company were met with unresponsiveness. Promises for follow-up communication were not honoured, leaving me with no choice but to seek resolution through other means.This experience has been not only frustrating but also highlighted the extraordinary lengths my real estate agent went to, personally ensuring that the end-of-lease conditions were met at no additional cost to me—a responsibility far beyond her obligations.I caution potential customers to consider this review and weigh the reliability and integrity of Essential Home Services before making a decision.

We were billed the amount of $600 for a supposed 6-hour service, the cleaners were on-site for 4.5 hours.Several areas were left dirty and unclean, completely defeating the purpose of hiring professional cleaners.Most disappointingly, we requested a 30-minute heads-up before completion, the cleaners left without notifying us. This left our home unlocked and unattended.After pointing out the issues, we were only offered a $60 refund, which is a far cry from the overcharge of $540 for the incomplete and substandard service. This refusal to take responsibility for their shortcomings is both frustrating and disappointing.While they offered to rectify their mistakes by coming back, after our experience, we are not comfortable allowing them back into our home.Super disappointed, save yourself the trouble and seek services elsewhere.

From the moment they answered the phone so professionally, through to the follow up afterwards, these guys are hard to fault. A great quality clean, at a fair price, and conveniently scheduled. The cleaners we had (Brooke and one other) were good communicators and problem solvers, and I would 100% use their services again. They deserve all the good reviews. We've used EHS for about 2 years now. They are extremely efficient (our home is 4 bed, 2.5 bath and they do it in 1.5 hours with 2 cleaners), pretty standard pricing, and very professional. I love that they clean areas our previous cleaners typically skipped, like the exhaust fan grease trap, dusting cobwebs from ceilings, and under our children's beds and change tables. We're very satisfied and will continue to use them.
